Embassy Suites by Hilton
Built [2004] The owner and developer desired a unique interior reminiscent of a Las Vegas feel and ambience. All carpets throughout were custom designed and the ceiling sculpture was to mimic Chihuly's art blossoms at Bellagio Hotel & Casino. To maintain within the budget, a local fabricator was sourced and the blossoms were constructed from acrylic. The project consisted of lobby and supporting spaces, 2 restaurant designs, 5 typical guest rooms of 42 storeys, banquet rooms and pool area.
Wayne Gretzky's Sports Bar
Built [2004] As an operating restaurant, this renovation demanded an aggressive construction schedule of 4 weeks. Many of the millwork pieces were pre fabricated in modular fashion and materials were pre ordered prior to design completion to accommodate the accelerated schedule.
Westin Ottawa, Daly's Restaurant
Built [2006] Although this renovation had a decent budget, much of it was assigned to mechanical and base building upgrades to accommodate the refurbishment. The client had a strong vision for an open kitchen concept that was difficult to accommodate the space. Special consideration was given to create the appropriate ambience from continental breakfasts to fine dining.
Carriage Hills Resort
Built [2003] Shell Vacations Club had a very distinct vision for each unit which the designers had to adhere to. Complete documentation for FFE specifications were created to the SVC standards.
